In an hour-long special for The Colbert Report, Sir Paul McCartney gave an awesome interview and played six songs.

The special was hilariously titled "Stephen Colbert's Tribute to Having Paul McCartney on His Show, Featuring Paul McCartney, With Special Guest Stephen Colbert."

McCartney talked with Colbert about the Beatles split, the formation of the Wings, the NSA scandal, the reissue of 'Wings Over America' and his artistic evolution as a musician. The whole interview is a great music history lesson and features some hilarious banter between the two.

Watch the interview and the performance of “Listen to What the Man Said” below.
