Vampire Weekend, MGMT to headline Virgin Mobile FreeFest 2013

Rock out to the likes of Vampire Weekend, The Avett Brothers and Pretty Lights at the 2013 Virgin Mobile FreeFest on Saturday, September 21 at the Merriweather Post Pavilion in Columbia, Maryland.

The powerhouse music festival will also include sets from MGMT, Kaskade, Icona Pop, Chvrches, Robin Thicke, City and Colour and much more.

Since FreeFest's admission is as the name says–free of charge–remember to quickly score your tickets when they go "on sale" at noon EDT on Friday, August 9. Virgin Mobile customers, past Virgin Mobile FreeFest attendees, Virgin Mobile Facebook friends and Twitter followers can get pre-sale tickets a day earlier on Thursday, August 8.

For an even more amped up music experience, festival-goers can purchase limited-availability FreeFest Fremium packages. The exclusive ticket includes guaranteed admission to the festival, a FreeFest t-shirt, a souvenir cup and unlimited fountain drinks for the whole day.

Not only will Virgin Mobile provide attendees with a solid, star-studded music festival, but they will also give back to the community and donate $10 from every Fremium package purchase to the company’s youth homelessness initiative.

Regardless of whether or not you go to FreeFest with a Fremium package, the festival will definitely end your summer on a high note.
