Robin Thicke played "Blurred Lines" with Jimmy Fallon and The Legendary Roots Crew because it's the song of the summer and Jimmy Fallon and The Roots Crew are awesome.

Last year it was Carly Rae Jepsen crammed into a trailer with Jimmy Fallon and The Legendary Roots Crew, armed with xylophones and kazoos, playing her massive hit "Call Me Maybe". Well, it's 2013 and the "song of the summer" debate rages on. Robin Thicke gained a little momentum with this move, as he follows Jepsen's lead and plays his inescapable jam, "Blurred Lines", with Jimmy Fallon, Questlove and company.
