You might remember Jimmy Eat World for "The Middle" from way back in 2001. If you're not hip on your turn-of-the-millennium alt rock news, then I hope you're sitting down because Semisonic broke up. On the bright side, though, Jimmy Eat World is still a thing and they're making the rounds to promote their most recent studio album, Damage, which was released earlier this year.

On Monday, the band made an appearance on Conan and performed a cover of Taylor Swift's "We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together" that became a web-only video. Sure, the song's moment may have passed, but the Jimmy Eat World version is pretty cool, as most cross-genre takes are wont to be. Check it out below.
