Two Bonnaroo festival-goers were killed on the way down to Manchester, Tennessee just after midnight on Thursday, reports News Channel 5.

According to police, a tractor-trailer failed to yield to congested traffic–which was caused by an earlier accident–and struck multiple vehicles.

In addition to the two fatalities, five others were injured in the total 10-car crash along Interstate 24 in Murfreesboro, TN. Two cars caught on fire. One of the cars exploded, which was holding the two passengers who died instantly.

The portion of the highway serves as a major route for those traveling down to Bonnaroo. It is only 30 minutes away from the festival grounds.
