In the category of “news we were not expecting to hear today,” The xx have announced a short string of tour dates including a stop in Wilmington, Delaware at World Café Live on Tuesday, Apr. 1.

Tickets go on sale Feb. 14 at 10 a.m.

The band made the announcement on their Facebook page attached to the following message:

“After our residency at the Armory in NYC, we will be spending some time in the US. We decided to play some shows in towns we’ve never played before, to try out some new things. These shows will be in smaller venues with a stripped down production. We hope to see you there!”
