The Monkees to play 'Midsummer' tour at The Mann

On Saturday, July 20th, at the Mann Center, the original Monkees–Michael Nesmith, Micky Dolenz and Peter Tork–return to Philadelphia as a part of their summer tour.

Following their sold out tour in 2012, the band decided demand was too high to not return to the stage. "The reaction to the last tour was euphoric," Micky Dolenz told Rolling Stone. "It was pretty apparent there was a demand for another one."

The show will present original songs in chronological order while simultaneously displaying archived video and photographs. Beware, pangs of nostalgia will occur.

Tickets go on sale Saturday, May 4th.
