James Murphy will DJ at The Lodge at Waterfront Winterfest.

What is Waterfront Winterfest, you may ask? It's the about-to-debut gathering space that includes the skating rink on Delaware Avenue south of the Ben Franklin Bridge that offically opens on Friday, with food by George Sabatino and craft beer to boot.

Or so they say. A chance to check out the wintry spin on the summer Morgan's Pier scene comes early tonight when former LCD Soundsystem frontman James Murphy spins at The Lodge, which is covered and heated, so will not be wet and freezing. Tickets are $10, and info on how to get them is here.

Below, check out a Murphy Boiler Room DJ set to get a sense of what you're in for.
