Listen to a new tune from TJ Kong and the Atomic Bomb

We've been dying for new material from blues-ified locals TJ Kong and the Atomic Bomb, who describe their sound as "like Bob Seger high on cocaine in the bathtub watching Werner Herzog movies on the ceiling." We love their 2010 debut LP "Idiots" but that was released two years ago and we've been yearning for something new.

Our prayers have been answered.

The band just tweeted out/posted on their Facebook profile a new song, "Gerald Dean" (or "Geraldine," as it was tweeted). Could a new record and shows be far behind? From the band: "Stay tuned for some previews, redo's, videos and bimbos as we get ready to put our new full length out in the spring."

Need more? All of "Idiots" is currently streaming on Bandcamp. If you like it enough, do the right thing and slam down the $8 for it. Considering how much we've rocked out to it, it's worth it.
