NJ's own Memory Tapes gets a Grammy nod

Chill wavers Memory Tapes, a/k/a Davye Hawk formerly of Philly's darkly danceable Hail Social, got a Grammy nod last night for Best Short Form Music Video for "Yes I Know" from the "Player Piano" LP. The video was directed by Eric Epstein (here's a nice interview with the director). It's an unexpected nomination, to say the least. Hawk is now based in South Jersey but that's good enough for us.
