Despite the band's touring bassist dropping out, Nine Inch Nails are going full steam ahead.

Frontman Trent Reznor stated yesterday that the group has been secretly recording their new studio album for the last year or so. It's all finished and is looking at an end of year release. This will be NIN's first album since 2008's The Slip.

This summer's festival goers need not to worry about a disbanded group; the band has a confirmed their tour's  lineup that includes Alessandro Cortini, Josh Eustis, Robin Finck and Ilan Rubin. They will play Philadelphia's Made In America Festival during Labor Day Weekend. Tickets are available here.
