My Morning Jacket, the hippie roots-rock band from Louisville, Kentucky fronted by otherworldly-voiced vocalist Jim James are on a tour that will bring them to the Mann Center for the Performing Arts on Aug. 17th.

The band is on the road in support of last year's Circuital, their sixth studio album, and on Tueesday, they will release the "Outta My System" EP, containing remixes of the song of that name from Circuital.

Today, the group let loose a video for "Outta My System" in which James dives into a rabbit hole in the earth, and winds up in an animated universe where he and his bandmates are transformed into one-eyed cyclops rockers. It's a joke, of sorts, that the James Frost-directed clip is said to feature hard-to-spell funnyman Zach Galifianakis, because while "The Wizard" who confronts MMJ in the underworld and shoots lightning bolts for kicks is drawn to look like Will Ferrell's The Campaign co-star, he doesn't actually appear on screen of say anything.

Band of Horses opesn for MMJ at the Mann. Tickets here.
