Last night, Jimmy Fallon's TV house was full of Philly talent last night as Diplo's group Major Lazer performed the single "Get Free" alongside The Roots. They were also joined by the Dirty Projector's own Amber Coffman and Dave Longstreth.

Major Lazer's sophmore album Free the Universe comes out next week on April 15th.

On a related note, Diplo has been in talks with 20th Century Fox to create a feature film focused on the recent explosion of the EDM (electronic dance music) culture. It's been described as "8 Mile meets Project X." [Pitchfork]
