Madonna's new album MDNA came out yesterday, and last I checked, it was #1 on iTunes in 35 countries.

Madonna's new album MDNA came out yesterday, and last I checked, it was #1 on iTunes in 35 countries. My review of the now-she-still-has-it, now-she-doesn't return of the Material Mum is in Tuesday's Inquirer and here.

The album's title is a play on MDMA, the acronym for the chemical compound of the club drug Ecstasy. Yesterday, TV celebrity shrink Dr. Drew joined Team Madonna, whose members already include M.I.A. and Nicki Minaj, to record a cute infomercial about the allegedly dangerously addictive qualities of MDNA.
