Madonna and Diplo performed on 'Fallon' last night and it was awful

“Who do you think you are?” Madonna bellowed into the mic during her performance on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon.

At this point, I’m not really sure.

Her Diplo-assisted performance of “B---h, I’m Madonna,” off of her latest album Rebel Heart, inspired a few head scratches as she gallivanted around The Tonight Show studio in thick gold chains and a dollar sign-emblazed jacket (in which Philly's own Diplo had a matching one).

From the sock puppet to the air thrusts atop Fallon’s desk, the whole thing played like an identity crisis. The 56-year-old’s strained dance moves over lackluster dance beats resembled more a gimmicky act than one of innovation.

She sounded all right though.

Diplo’s involvement didn’t extend much beyond a cameo dressing room appearance — where a bunch of women just happened to be dancing — and maintaining his position in the onstage DJ booth.
