Jay Rock, Ab-Soul and SchoolboyQ – aka the Top Dawg family – played a 20 minute opener to kick off Kendrick Lamar's late afternoon set.

Jay and Ab played a lukewarm set, not receiving as much crowd participation as they were asking for.

Schoolboy Q garnered a warmer welcome from the crowd while performing "Hands on the Wheel" and the new single, "Collard Greens."

The energy completely shifted once the three rappers headed off and Kendrick Lamar took the stage. The Cali rapper performed favorites "Backseat Freestyle," a rocked out version of A$AP Rocky's "F*ckin Problems," and  "B*tch Don't Kill My Vibe," all of which commanded the attention of the enthusiastic crowd. Hands were high and so were the vibes.
