It's a hazy and humid 85 degrees here on the Benjamin Franklin parkway as Made in America kicks off with a performance from Cincinnati, Ohio-based indie rockers, Walk the Moon. Thanks to the provided Budweiser hand fans, misting tents, and water stations, the crowd is keeping their cool.

The mood at the festival is lively, everybody seems enthusiastic, energetic, and happy to be here. Red, white, and blue clad kids of all ages threw their hands in the air as Walk the Moon took the Rocky Stage.

Redlight lit off the Freedom Stage, which caters to the EDM crowd, with visuals and a hype man that had fans bouncing about.

As LA-based band of sisters HAIM took the Liberty stage they told the crowd, "My mom is from Philly and she says it's the coolest place ever!"
