It´s becoming more and more apparent that the soundtrack to this summer´s ´The Great Gatsby´ might be better than the film itself.
It's becoming more and more apparent that the soundtrack to this summer's 'The Great Gatsby' might be better than the film itself.

As predicted, The Great Gatsby soundtrack is epic epic EPIC.

Snippets have been meaningfully leaked onto the interwebz, intentionally teasing your ears with amazingness. It's a perfect mix of old and new, keeping with the classic aesthetic of F. Scott Fitzgerald's novel while being composed with a modern twist–just like the upcoming feature film.

The all-star musical lineup is, so far, living up to expectations. Take a listen to 10-15 second clips of each of the songs below from The xx, will.i.am, Florence & The Machine and more. Unfortunately, it excludes Beyoncé and André 3000's Amy Winehouse cover as well as Jay-Z's "100$ Bill"–probably the two most anticipated tracks.

Highlight: Emeli Sandé's cover of Beyoncé's "Crazy in Love"
