Glee star Lea Michele will tour this spring in support of her upcoming album Places, and she’s kicking things off right here in Philadelphia.

Michele will start her “Intimate Evening With” tour May 1 at the Merriam Theater. Tickets for that show go on sale Wednesday, March 8 at 10 a.m. via the Kimmel Center website and box office.

From there, Michele will take her tour to cities including Boston, Seattle, and San Francisco. The tour is a limited one, with just six total dates announced so far.

Places is Michele’s sophomore album, and will be released later this year via Columbia Records. No exact release date has yet been announced, but the lead single, "Love is Alive" was released last week.

Michele first gained fame as Rachel Berry on Fox’s Glee, which concluded a six-season run in 2015. She released her first album, Louder, in 2014. That album sold 110,000 copies in North America as of Jan. 2017, according to Billboard
