Lady Gaga announces Philly date as part of Joanne World Tour

Lady Gaga performs during the Pepsi Zero Sugar Super Bowl LI Halftime Show at NRG Stadium in Houston. After the performance, she announced a new tour. It will bring her to the Wells Fargo Center on Sept. 10.

Little Monsters of Philadelphia, get ready: Lady Gaga is coming to town.

The Mother Monster released the dates for her upcoming Joanne World Tour, which will bring Gaga to the Wells Fargo Center on Sept. 10.

Tickets for Gaga’s coming Philly date go on sale at 10 a.m. Feb. 13 at the Wells Fargo Center website and box office. They run between $45 and $250.

The tour will support the pop songstress’ 2016 album Joanne, which landed Gaga her fourth number-one album on the Billboard 200. Gaga’s Joanne tour is her first solo headlining tour since 2014’s ARTPOP dates. She performed in the Philly area last July at the Camden Rising concert for Democratic National Convention delegates.

Gaga teased the upcoming tour following her well-received Super Bowl LI halftime performance on Sunday:

Gaga’s Super Bowl LI performance began with the pop star making her way to the stage from the roof of the NRG Stadium in Houston. Following that stunt, she went on to perform hits including “Bad Romance,” “Poker Face,” and “Just Dance.” Prior to her performance, Gaga said the set would showcase “inclusion” and celebrate the “spirit of equality.”

As Forbes points out, Gaga is not the first star to announce a significant tour following a Super Bowl performance. Beyoncé, who is pregnant with twins, announced her successful Formation world tour following her halftime performance in 2016. Madonna did the same in 2012 for her MDNA Tour.

Gaga’s Joanne tour kicks off Aug. 1 on Vancouver, Canada; it will wrap up Dec. 14 in Salt Lake City, Utah. Full tour dates are available on Gaga’s official website.
