Katy Perry and John Mayer team up for new love song

With Katy Perry’s album Prism prepping for release on October 22, the pop star has been promoting her latest single “Roar.” In fact, she'll be performing it at this year's MTV VMAs. In addition to her new album, Perry recently lent her vocals for a love song collaboration with someone very close to her.

Perry teamed up with her boyfriend John Mayer for “Who You Love,” a song off of Mayer’s forthcoming album, Paradise Valley–releasing on August 20.  A low quality version of the song has leaked onto the web. It’s a honey-sweet love ballad that’s bound to end up in the next Nicholas Sparks film. We love the smooth dynamic between these two.

A collaboration between Frank Ocean and John Mayer has also been revealed. The song titled "Wildfire" is a piano laced ballad that will be on Paradise Valley.

Paradise Valley is now streaming on iTunes.
