Jeff Mangum, the once-reclusive leader of indie heroes Neutral Milk Hotel, will play the Irvine Auditorium at Penn on Wed., Jan. 25.

Jeff Mangum, the once-reclusive mainstay of Neutral Milk Hotel, will play the Irvine Auditorium at Penn on Wed., Jan. 25, according to Pitchfork. Previously, the announcement of a Jeff Mangum tour would be as likely as Herman Cain and Mitt Romney announcing their budding romance, but Mangum's public appearances have become more frequent as of late, including a stop at Occupy Wall Street and a recent Jersey City show

In the wake of the Pitchfork announcement, R5 Productions has info on the show up on their site. Tix will go on sale this Friday at noon, will cost $26-$36 (with $1 going to Children of the Blue Sky) and can be purchased at r5productions.com.
