If you like Frank Turner and you live in Philly, chances are that you were at his Underground Arts show last month when he preemptively announced that he'd be returning to play the Factory in November.
During his encore, the folk-punk singer with a rabid following told the crowd that he'd be back in November and that he could feel the angry email flying at his face because he wasn't supposed to tell them yet.
Well, now, it's official. Friday, November 29th at the Electric Factory. It's the penultimate date of his tour with his full band, The Sleeping Souls. Smith Street Band and Koo Koo Kanga Roo are slated to support. Tickets will be available on Friday, June 28th.
Turner has had his hands full with a constant tour in support of his studio album, Tape Deck Heart, which hit proverbial Internet shelves back in April.
So, if you're full of angst because you didn't grow up to be an astronaut, check your baggage at the door and be ready to raise a glass in five months. He'll play, you'll sing. It'll be the perfect way for the evening to begin.
