In an interview with Slate, Kim Gordon, the former bassist of Sonic Youth, revealed that she will be making an appearance on an episode of the HBO series Girls.

Gordon made a cameo on an episode of Gossip Girl back in 2009, where her and the rest of Sonic Youth performed “Star Power”.  The former bassist is currently working on her latest project Body/Head, which will be releasing their debut on September 10.

Girls will not be returning to TV until next year, although a teaser for the forthcoming season has been revealed.
