In May of 2012, PhilaMOCA began hosting a weekly Tuesday evening event that brought together local music and film: Tuesday Tune-Out.

Each month features a new guest curator who picks the musical guests. The bands take the stage at 8 PM for a live show, which then follows with a previously unannounced film of their choice at 9 PM.

After the screening and performance, the artist(s) then takes the stage to discuss the film and how it personally inspires them.

For the month of September, Y-Not Radio – Philly indie rock radio station – will be curating the weekly line up. Here is what you can expect:

9/10Josh Jones (from Univox) and Cayetana
9/17
Ivory Tuskk (Robbie Bennett from The War On Drugs) and Gretchen Lohse
9/24
Break It Up

PhilaMOCA is located on 531 N. 12th St., Philadelphia, PA
8 PM - $5
