Demi Lovato pulls out of Welcome America festival

Due to a strep throat, former Disney star and pop singer Demi Lovato has decided to cancel her performance for the Wawa Welcome America Fourth of July Jam on the Parkway.

City officials confirmed to Tuesday morning that country star Hunter Hayes has been added to the lineup as a replacement.

Lovato recently lost her biological father to cancer. She also opened up in the August issue of Cosmopolitan telling them she was suicidal at the age of seven.
