Comedian and TV star Dave Chappelle is like an exotic, elusive animal these days. Since ending his Comedy Central show days back in 2006, the 40-year-old has only been touring on rare occasions, most recently with a visit to Upper Darby’s Tower Theater. But surprisingly, in the last decade, Chappelle has never performed in his beloved New York City – that’s all about to change.

Dave is taking up residency of sorts at Radio City Music Hall from June 24-26 and he’s bringing along a grand group of friends. The Roots, Janelle Monáe, Erykah Badu, Busta Rhymes, and DJ Premier will also provide some live entertainment each night while accompanied by a full orchestra. Whoa. And Pitchfork reveals that even more special guests have yet to be announced.

This news comes shortly after his planned five nights of stand-up at RCMH, which are all sold out and do not include any guests.

Tickets can be found here. Here are Chapelle's scheduled dates (solo + guests included)

06/18 – New York, NY @ Radio City Music Hall
06/19 – New York, NY @ Radio City Music Hall
06/20 – New York, NY @ Radio City Music Hall
06/21 – New York, NY @ Radio City Music Hall
06/22 – New York, NY @ Radio City Music Hall
06/24 – New York, NY @ Radio City Music Hall (with The Roots)
06/25 – New York, NY @ Radio City Music Hall (with Busta Rhymes, DJ Premier, and Janelle Monáe)
06/26 – New York, NY @ Radio City Music Hall (with Erykah Badu)
