According to the people over at MTV UK, a single from Daft Punk's forthcoming album Random Access Memories will premiere on French radio station 'Fun Radio' on Monday, April 15.

The station's radio personality and disc-jockey, DJ Lifelike, took a moment to announce the news on his Twitter account yesterday: "Good news, our french robots Daft Punk will premiere their new single next week on the french radio 'Fun Radio', i didnt say anything :)" He also linked to a recent iTunes commercial that plays a 15 second clip of a new song (see below).

Of course, if you're a fan of Daft Punk, you know many 'rumors' are set to disappoint; but for some reason I feel a glimmer of hope in this one!

You can definitely expect the release of their new album on May 21st.
