Daft Punk confirmed to appear on Colbert Report

Stephen Colbert randomly popped onto the set of Late Night With Jimmy Fallon last night. The Comedy Central show host danced out to Daft Punk’s “Get Lucky” and it was a complete surprise–even Fallon didn’t know how to react.

According to a Daft Punk and Colbert fansite, the musical stunt was to promote Daft Punk’s upcoming appearance on The Colbert Report, which was apparently revealed to his July 25 studio audience.

It’s now been confirmed that the robot duo will appear on The Colbert Report on Tuesday, August 6. Their appearance is apart of Stephen’s “Colbchella” series. We’re curious; who’s next?

No one is certain on whether the robots will perform, be interviewed, or both. Watch Colbert’s cameo on last night’s Fallon, below.
