Chris Brown announces Philly tour date as ex files restraining order

R&B star Chris Brown is coming to Philadelphia this spring, and he’s bringing special guests like rappers 50 Cent and Fabolous with him on April 22.

But word of Brown’s impending Philadelphia date comes amid news that the singer’s ex-girlfriend, model Karrueche Tran, recently filed a domestic violence restraining order against him. According to TMZ, Tran alleges that Brown “told a few people that he was going to kill me” and “punched me in my stomach twice” several years ago when he was on probation for abusing Rihanna.

As a result of the restraining order, Brown must stay 100 yards away from Tran, as well as her mother and brother.

Brown's Wells Fargo Center tour date will also feature O.T. Genasis and KAP G alongside 50 and Fabolous.

Tickets for Brown’s upcoming show go on sale Saturday, Feb. 25 at 10 a.m. via the Wells Fargo Center website and box office, or by phone at 1-800-298-4200. The artist last performed in Philadelphia in Feb. 2015, also at the Wells Fargo Center.
