Bruce Springsteen dedicates song to Trayvon Martin

Bruce Springsteen joins a fleet of other celebrities and musicians–like Beyonce and Stevie Wonder–who have been sending their love and support to Trayvon Martin and those deeply affected by the recent George Zimmerman verdict.

The NJ Star-Ledger is reporting that Bruce performed his song “American Skin (41 Shots)” at a concert in Limerick, Ireland and dedicated it to the 17-year-old victim of violence. Springsteen told the crowd, “I want to send this one out as a letter [to] back home. For justice for Trayvon Martin.”

The song was originally written on the subject of 1999’s shooting of Amadou Diallo.
