Bring on the funk: George Clinton and Parliament Funkadelic, War, Ohio Players and more at Robin Hood Dell tonight

Yeah, there's some big deal festival called Made in America in town this weekend. The Mayor is very excited. Bruce Springsteen & the E Street Band are playing Citizens Bank, too, and Madonna, for goodness sakes, opened her U.S. tour at the Wells Fargo Center on Tuesday.
Here's one, however, that that might have evaded your notice.

Tonight at the Robin Hood Dell East in Strawberry Mansion, there's a full-on old-school funk bill, headlined by Geoge Clinton and Parliament Funkadelic and including War, the Ohio Players, Dazz Band and the BarKays.

Show details here. Below, "(Not Just) Knee Deep" with DAvid Letterman from 1991.
