Partier and musician, Andrew W.K., has set his sights on breaking a world record. He will by playing the drums for 24-hours straight as a part of VH1’s O Music Awards this Wednesday, June 19th.

The O Music Awards–or the OMAs–is an annual awards show that honors music, technology and the intersection of the two. The ceremony is no stranger to record-breaking moments. In 2011, Chiddy Bang rapper Chidera “Chiddy” Anamege rapped for an entire nine hours, 16 minutes, and 22 seconds; breaking the previous record of nine hours, 15 minutes and 15 seconds.

The "Party Hard" singer will attempt his daylong feat in Oakley’s flagship store, located in Times Square. To help keep his stamina up, Questlove–and other special guests–will be playing alongside the rocker for a few hours to show support.

Realizing this is a bold move, W.K. is feeling a little fearful about the event. He told MTV, “Despite my apparent confidence, inside I am actually a very small, trembling shell of a person, who is not only intimidated, but completely mortified and horrified by the ramifications of this challenge.” He’s also got some concerns when it comes to using the restroom, the possibility of getting sick and exhaustion. But, he claims he will be going all-natural; without the help of stimulants or substances.

Andrew’s super-human attempt is all a part of the OMA’s first ever “Live Music Day” festival that will feature over 50 acts, including Kate Nash, Hanson, Atlas Genius and more.
