Aimee Mann has a new album called Charmer coming out on September 18. On October 26, the former 'Til Tuesday singer-songwriter plays Union Transfer. This week, she put out a video for the album's title cut that's directed by WFMU The Best Show deejay Tom Sharpling.

Aimee Mann has a new album called Charmer coming out on September 18. On October 26, the former 'Til Tuesday singer-songwriter plays Union Transfer. This week, she put out an amusing video for the album's title cut that's directed by The Best Show on WFMU deejay Tom Scharpling.

Comedian John Hodgman makes a cameo appearance, but the straight faced star of the show is actress and PBS host Laura Linney, who plays Mann's spotlight-loving robot double who stands in for her on tour. Not quite tall enough, but she can pass. See below.
