Mick Jagger’s ex-girlfriend Chrissie Shrimpton had something worth bidding for at a London auction yesterday.

A lock of the Rolling Stones front man’s hair was sold off for $6,000 (that’s 4,000 pounds), which was more than double of the original asking price.

The auction event also featured such gems as David Bowie’s handwritten lyrics for “The Jean Genie” and a guitar owned once by Jimmy Page–that went for 26,250 pounds.
