Dressed to impress the locals in a Phillies throwback jersey, Macklemore & Ryan Lewis performed in front of an elated crowd at the Liberty stage Sunday evening.

In between songs, Macklemore vocalized his love for the city. "Philly is the greatest. The food, the architecture - how could you not love it?" He then gave a big shout out to South Philly cheesesteak staple, Ishkabibbles.

A trio of female dancers filed out for the rapper's biggest hit "Thrift Shop." They also brought out Wanz, the low key vocalist who sings the catchy hook.

"There were a few times in my life where I haven't felt proud to be an American," said Macklemore as he delivered a short but powerful speech on marriage equality that transitioned appropriately into "Same Love."

"When I get together with my parents and they ask me what was the craziest show of the summer? I want to be able to look at my parents and say that Philadelphia's Budweiser Made in America festival had the craziest crowd," screamed the rapper.

They closed their set with monster hit "Can't Hold Us" and brought out another special guest, Ray Dalton, to sing the song's chorus.
