Prometheus: Our critics weigh in

Prometheus has some amazing set pieces, amazing gizmos, amazing visual effects. But the movie has a big problem - it makes almost no sense. There are eruptions of character behavior that appear to be detached from any knowable motivation.

Steven Rea, Inquirer Film Critic:

"Unfortunately, as much as director Scott - an extraordinary visualist, if not visionary - would like to think Prometheus belongs in the company of 2001, it really doesn't."

Read Steven Rea's full review, 'Prometheus': Voyage through space with a wispy plot.

Gary Thompson, Daily News Film Critic:

"The movie has a big problem — it makes almost no sense. There are eruptions of character behavior that appear to be detached from any knowable motivation."

I haven't seen the film yet but I plan to. Steven Rea's allusion to Scott's allusion to Kubrick's 2001: A Space Odyssey struck me as kind of funny. Because his sentiments reflect some of the sentiments direct at Kubrick prior to the release of the aforementioned 2001.

We are well into the age of Modern Propaganda and the use of entertainment to seed ideas, belief and ideology by those who can best take advantage of the result. In some ways they flaunt their agendas designed to make them Omnipotent on a global scale via various Global Bureaucracies like the UN etc. The blurring of art/entertainment and occultism is nothing new and now it is almost perfected since TV and Movies heavily influence culture. Ask yourself this, WTF is there a statue of Prometheus in Rockefeller Center? You can find the answers in who they are and their actions historically into the present and who they think they are and they are but one example of a global elite who think they be gods LOL! - www.infowars.com/secrets-of-prometheus-film-leaked/
