Animal Planet's new Penn vet reality show gets trailer, new name

Clint Kuban, 28, is one of the student veterinarians at the center of "Life at Vet U," a new Animal Planet docuseries focusing on the lives of Penn Vet students

Remember the reality show at set the University of Pennsylvania's School of Veterinary Medicine? The show was originally pitched as Penn Vet, but will now be called Life at Vet U. The six-part series will premiere on Animal Planet Saturday, October 1 at 10 p.m.

The series will focus on six student vets, including local Lindsay Gallagher, who grew up in South Jersey and fell in love with animals playing on her grandfather's farm. The show will take us inside the lives of these student vets, not just in their work with animals, but also into their personal lives, including their love (one guy is dating a fellow a student) and family  lives (another student's father died of Pancreatic cancer). But we're all about Melanie Lang, who likes to drink bourbon and hang with her cat Dr. Butterfat.
