Watch: Kevin Hart, Meek Mill rap battle each other in Las Vegas

Meek Mill may still have something of a feud going with Toronto native Drake, but over the weekend, he turned his attention to a fellow Philadelphian: Kevin Hart.

Thankfully, however, this beef was a little more lighthearted.

Mill performed Sunday in Las Vegas at Drai’s nightclub, The Source reports, and invited Hart up on stage for a brief but hilarious rap battle that had the comedian transforming into his hip-hop alter-ego, Chocolate Droppa.

“Popping up on my stage I’m like, ‘What is the odds?’/ He must be on molly or something, look at his eyes,” Mill rapped to kick off the battle.

Hart quickly fired back at the Philly emcee, rapping that “Meek Mill’s stomach looks like he just don’t quit it” and that he ought to “stop [expletive] wearing pants that show your shape ain’t [expletive].”

The pair continued on with several more digs at one another, with Hart later letting the audience know that there’s no real trouble to be found between the two Philly natives.

“Meek Mill is official and has the talent,” Hart said Sunday. “He gets it done. I’m a fan forever. I’m a Philadelphia guy forever. I’m going to ride with Meek forever.”

Following the performance, Hart shouted out Mill on Instagram, writing that seeing the rapper was “all love as usual”:

My guy....Good seeing u this weekend man....All love as usual!!!! #Philly #DopePic

Mill echoed that sentiment:

Hart had been in Las Vegas for an advance screening of Kevin Hart: What Now?, which was filmed at Lincoln Financial Field in August 2015. It will hit theaters Oct. 14.

Mill, meanwhile, could put out his highly anticipated Dreamchasers 4 this month, with the rapper teasing a September release for the album last month on Instagram.
