Former Fox 29 meteorologist Rob Guarino and his business partner were involved in some early morning drama on their
website today, although their back and forth sniping has since been removed.
At 4:16 a.m. Sunday Tom Walls, of Kennett Square, PA posted a blog entry called "Rob Guarino is a Fraud & He Screwed My GirlFriend." Within the post he included a text message purportedly sent from Guarino confirming that he had slept with a girl named Stacey and telling Walls to "get over your high school self." Walls claimed Stacey was his girlfriend at the time and told readers "The guy you all love is a fraud, a con-artist, he is the worse [sic] friend imaginable," and also that Guarino's stuff was "now on my front lawn."
While we were not tech-savvy enough to save a screen capture of Walls' original post, Philadelphia Will Do and Sky Barn were.
By 7:30 a.m. that post had vanished and Guarino made his own post entitled "Tom's behavior," in which he said "I'm not sure why Tom chose to do this. People write and do things they will regret later when they sober up. Just to clear the air, this so called Stacey never went out with Tom and he just came out of a 2 year relationship with a girl named Anne Marie," wrote Guarino adding that he has known Walls for only two years that they've run the site together. Guarino assured the site will continue with weather updates. His entire post was removed from the site several hours later.
Guarino is back in the area after spending about a year working at a TV station in Albuquerque, New Mexico.
