Philly-shot 'Do No Harm' cancelled after two episodes
Molly Eichel, Daily News Staff Writer
NBC cancelled Philly-set drama "Do No Harm" after only two episodes. The show was a modern take on Jekyll and Hyde in which a surgeon (Steven Pasquale) turns into a cruel-intentioned badboy each night night. The cast also featured Phylicia Rashad, Samm Levine and Alana De La Garza.
The first episode of the show did not get off to a good start, carrying the dubious honor of the lowest rated in-season premiere since 1987 when current ratings metric were implemented. Last night's ratings only got worse, dropping 22 percent in the demo from the premiere. Episodes of "Law & Order: SVU" will air in its place for the next two weeks.
Settings for "Do No Harm" included the School District of Philadelphia building and the Franklin Institute.
This doesn't surprise me. The show was horrible. I barely made it through the first episode. finkiegirl
The real lesson to be learned from this is that if people want to see nut cases, they will watch Fox News and listen to Rush Limbaugh. With those vermin all over the TV and radio, its hard to watch a show about a guy who is faking being crazy, when we have the real thing out there 24 hours a day. eldiablodelsol2009
I agree, you could add The Ed show and Chris Matthews from NBC too pathetic idiots who cater to liberalisms worst knuckleheads and David Letterman who pokes his nose into politics and looks like he should be selling Geritol!! mjkfisher- Matthews and Schultz are much more intelligent than anyone on Fox. Liberal, yes, but much more intelligent.

Eldiablo, as an avid MSNBC watcher, you must be familiar with the three resident psychos: Schultz, O'Donnell and Matthews. It doesn't get much nuttier than that! JerseyDan2012- Well done eldiablo. Don't forget Glenn Beck--whatever rock he is hiding under.
I saw about the first 10 minutes, then switched the channel. It was terrible. The only thing good about it were the shots of Philadelphia. rehabmax
Hollywood needs to black list all it's current writers (and so called writer/directors) and bring in a new cast of characters. I've never seen writing so bad and ideas that are just terrible (or beyond terrible). neddyflanders
they kept advertising this show on NBC. It looked terrible. Nick4598- Another good show that doesn't get a chance. The story idea was fun. I was looking forward to seeing where it would go. MrPhilly

I wish it was my cup of tea, but the mini-series Jekyll from BBC ruined all future shows with the same concept for me. Man, that show was great! suzuka22
