UPDATE: Despite the hopes expressed by some of our Twitter followers after we posted this Monday night, Vedder did not join the Boss onstage during his concert.

Eddie should have went onstage & sang born in the USA with the boss Jay Grace 69
So cynical! Well they weren't born millionaires, they both worked hard to become so. Isn't that the ideal you Republicans are supposed to be in love with? Jabey
I like both of them but these days the big highlight of seeing either one is hearing their covers of other people's songs. Better Man and Out In the Street sound the same whether it's 1995 or 2012 and every year in between. AvoidSundanceVacations
@Jabey - "The ideal that Republicans are supposed to be in love with?" I would hope that's an ideal for all Americans. It seems to me a large % of people vote Democrat because that is the party that will get them the most free stuff. knicks84
LOL, knicks84. franka
Republicans= hard work get rich, Democraps = How much free stuff from Govt can I get. bigtom blew3
It is comforting to know that Bruce and Eddie do not support Mittwit "Mr. 1% Multimillionaire Mormon" Romney in spite of the fact that both men are millionaires who, unlike Mr. Romney, were not born into a life of wealth and privelege; Bruce and Eddie are Democrats due to their intelligence, integrity, and dignity. It is also true that Bruce does not support Governor Fat Fattie, uh, Chris Christie. Paulhaider74
"Bruce and Eddie are Democrats due to their intelligence, integrity, and dignity".
Bruce is a Democrat because his old man, the union factory working guy, drove it into him from day one. It's about the only thing he listened to.
Integrity...Barry has integrity?? GITMO, debit reduction, shovel-ready, infrastructure, Auto-bailouts, etc....that's integrity???? No wonder we are in such bad shape as a country....oh yeah and your VP has intelligence and dignity??? LOL?? Libby nuts!!!
sarah89- Good point. When I think about Joe Biden somehow "intelligence and dignity" are two of the LAST words that come to mind!! LOL

I have never understood people like paulhaider74 that add to their otherwise intelligent comments with a "fat" comment at the end. It kinda cancels out he good stuff you write. Unless you're Brad or Angie, what gives you the right to insult someone's physical appearance? Whether it's a big nose, being short, or being fat, etc. unless you're perfect and I doubt you are, why lose your credibility by doing that? It's just so 5th grade.
I especially love when David Letterman makes his Chris Christie "fat jokes". David Letterman has gotta be one of the homliest individuals on television. And he's insulting someone else's physical appearance?? Seriously?? It's mind-boggling to me.
BTW, before you start calling me fat or a Christie lover, I weigh 110 lbs. and I am a NJ Democrat!! LOL lovemesomephillies
This is a gossip article about who's in town, not a political article. The GOP is getting nuttier as each day goes by with more nut jobs showing how they need medical attention! CRAZY! swimfishie
