Wanna be in a movie with Harrison Ford, Gary Oldman and Liam Hemsworth?

Heery Casting seeks extras, men and women of all ethnicities, ages 20-65, for background roles in "Paranoia," a corporate espionage thriller by "Legally Blonde" director Robert Luketic that is scheduled to begin filming in town in late July.

Casting agent Diane Heery says most scenes require "slick, upscale business people," and they also need the "hip and cool-beautiful people" crowd for some nightclub scenes.

For more info, visit Heery Casting's web site.

    Dan:

I seriously think you should speak to the casting agency and have them find roles for the original members of la GROSSa nostra. All loyal GROSSians should be rewarded with our "big break" in a Hollywood film.
At the very least, perhaps Ro Ro can be a "ring card gal" for Damon's next round of NONlebrity boxing.

How about Mayor Urkel and his posse of Deputy Mayors? Can't get much more slicker than that.

I'm sure the casting team has an opening for sewer rats and stray dogs that you and your family could fill with no problem.

If they need those types of extras, why are they shooting in Philadelphia??? Seriously, look around you. Of course it is a movie starting Harrison "at least I look better than Redford" Ford.

These film crews are the only humans in center city that are untouchable to the PPA.
They park wherever they please, whenever they please and however they please.
The only way you'll know if they've decided to use your street is if you try to open your door and find a van parked 3 inches from your doorway so you can't open your door.
And God help you if you happen to need an emergency vehicle - no fire engine, ambulance or police van could possibly get to your location when the film crews have decided to occupy your street.
You say it's good publicity for the city? Sure, when you go to see the film you'll discover the scenes shot in Philadelphia are portrayed as taking place in some other city - Boston, New York, Baltimore or, more likely Camden Enn Jay.

I'd like to play a tree in the film. Who do I call?
