'Nick and Artie Show' coming to 610WIP starting Wednesday

POSTED: Tuesday, February 28, 2012, 11:20 AM

Syndicated sports talk show "The Nick and Artie Show," featuring Howard Stern sidekick Artie Lange and comedian Nick DiPaolo comes to SportsRadio 610WIP weekdays from 10 p.m. to 1 a.m. starting Wednesday night.

The show will be heard on 610WIP, but not its FM signal at 94WIP. It may also be streamed online at NickandArtie.com.

Lange attemped suicide in Jan. 2010 and never returned to the Stern show where he had spent nine years. He was off radio until last summer when he and DiPaolo filled in for Tony Bruno on his Fox Sports Radio show. The Nick and Artie show launched in October and in December the show was picked up by Sirius XM Satellite Radio's Extreme Talk channel, the first time Lange was heard on Sirius since leaving Stern.

We would be remiss to not take this opportunity to shout-out the hilarious film "Dirty Work," in which Lange co-starred with Norm MacDonald.

thats just it Delaware, they have nothing to do with philly sports. just another indicator of how far WIP has fallen. they fire eskin, put on the putrid Mike&Ike show and follow that up with this nonsense. the only reason you cant say 97.5 ESPN radio is killing WIP is because WIP is already dead....LOL

No one listens to WIP. If they want sports talk full of energy and quick opinions from the heart, they listen to 97.5 ESPN. WIP is old, slow and out of touch. They should have never changed WYSP's format away from music.

They don't, but they will add to the cast of buffons in the stations lineup...and what does the drunk, t&a show with fat pigs eating wings, or a best of eating contest have to do with sports.....Answer....pandering to the low IQ's of the 700 level Philly fan....
