Looks like Snooki and JWOWW have to find a new haunt. Hoboken Mayor Dawn Zimmer refused a request for a permit to a yet unnamed "Jersey Shore" spin off featuring Nicole Polizzi and Jenni Farley.
Based on protecting public safety and quality of life concerns for Hoboken residents, the City has denied a film permit for a spin-off of the Jersey Shore to be filmed in public locations. Please see the attached letters which explain the reasons for this decision. The applicant has been advised that they do have a right to appeal the Film Commission’s decision to the City Council.
Gawker has the full letter explaining why and it's not just Zimmer avoiding a massive guidette outbreak. Hoboken as a law banning filming in residential areas after 11 p.m., which wouldn't suit JWOWW and Snooki's night owl lifestyle.
The JWOWW/Snooki show revolves around the dynamic duo "when the vacation is over." Another planned spin-off features Paul "DJ Pauly D" DelVecchio pursuing his music career.
In other news, Radar believes that Snooki secretly has a bun in the oven but we won't confirm until we see a bump. Snooki also revealed on Twitter today that she believes N.J. Gov Chris Christie -- who has never been a fan of "Jersey Shore" -- is running for president. Does she have some insider info we don't know about?!

- Hoboken already has enough idiots who come into town on the weekends, drink at our bars, get loud, pee in our alleys, and trash the place. Every weekend. You should hear it at 3am when the bars let out people are screaming at the top of their lungs.
