NBC10 lets another anchor go, Dawn Timmeney was not renewed
NBC 10 sheds another anchor. Dawn Timmeney, who anchored the 4 and 5:30 p.m. newscast worked her last day at the station on Friday. Timmeney, who worked at NBC10 for nearly 12 years, was not renewed by the station, which we reported recently had also chosen not to renew Tim Lake.

Dawn Timmeney, who anchored the 4 and 5:30 p.m. newscast worked her last day at the station on Friday.
Timmeney, who worked at NBC10 for nearly 12 years, was not renewed by the station, which we reported recently had also chosen not to renew Tim Lake.
NBC 10 news director Anzio Williams emailed staff another generic statement about a veteran staffer's departure, as he did after Lake's final newscast.
"In her 12 years at NBC 10 Dawn Timmeney has worn many hats in different dayparts. Please join me in wishing Dawn the very best as she moves forward.
Timmeney did not return a request for comment.
Wonder who's next? Just read last night that Nefertiti Jaquez, who used to be on 29 a few years back, will be a reporter on Channel 10. This station is really brutal, the way it gets rid of anchors and reporters. I guess Dawn's "Pet Project" will be gone with the wind too, I enjoyed that tremendously.— catharine_christian_carpenter- Dawn Timmeney was the best part of NBC10, by far. Can't believe they did not re sign her. A bad move. Aside from being a relaxed but professional anchor, it helped that she was and is smokin hot. She will not be without a job for long.
