Metallica member to intro concert film in Philly

Metallica bassist Robert Trujillo will be in Philly in the beginning hours of Friday (12:01 p.m. to be exact) to introduce the concert film, "Metallica Through the Never."

Trujillo will be at the AMC Franklin Mills to preview the new IMAX movie that is a hybrid concert-fiction saga. Interspersed with live performances are scenes of roadie Trip (Dane DeHaan, "Chronicle," the upcoming
"The Amazing Spider-Man 2"), who is sent on a seemingly routine mission that turns surreal. I haven't seen it but, judging from the description, I'm thinking it's got "Song Remains the Same" vibe to it. The film was directed by Nimród Antal ("Predators").

The movie officially hits theaters on Friday, September 27. Click here to buy tickets to the Trujillo event.
