A few months back, Meek Mill had some major beef with the city of Philadelphia, and still does. The local rapper filed a civil rights lawsuit that claimed on Halloween in 2012, a pair of Philly police officers pulled him over and imprisoned him for the alleged possession of marijuana – they found no drugs in the vehicle or on the 26-year-old. Mill believes he was unjustly targeted and detained because of his race.

Mill took the cops to court in May stating that the illegal arrest cost him a shoe contract and made him miss a private jet that was supposed to escort him to a party appearance that evening, where he was to receive a $39,000 check.

Now, one of the cops is getting back at Meek by suing him for $750,000 in damages, according to TMZ. What are the damages? The now-fired officer, who hasn’t worked in a year, is claiming the rapper has ruined his reputation and character and the incident has "had a strong affect on my life and relationship performance with my fiancée." The officer was fired for reasons that were unrelated to this case, but believes that Mill has tarnished the unnamed cop's reputation by speaking poorly of him to the media.
