Kim Kardashian slams Katie Couric via social media, what else?

Kim Kardashian, it seems, does not want Katie Couric's presents or well wishes.

The new mother shared an image via Instagram Friday of a package consisting of a blanket and onesie from the media personality for little baby, North West.

A card accompanying the gift splayed atop the items reads, "Dear Kim and Kanye, Congratulations on the birth of your baby girl!...And may I humbly suggest you continue the K tradition..Fondly, Katie Couric."

It was a sweet gesture from the show host, but the gift was not received in such a manner: The caption beneath/beside the Instagram photo reads, "#IHateFakeMediaFriends #MayIHumblySuggestYouNotSendGiftsThenTalkSh-t." The message was also shared via Twitter.

So what is it that Couric did to even remotely elicit such a rude response? On Thursday, In Touch published an interview with Couric, where the newscaster asked in reference to the Kardashians, "I don't understand- why are they so famous?"

It's a legitimate question for those unfamiliar with the Kardashian Family's hit E! show and branded empire, though some would say Kim K's journey to fame started elsewhere.
