Country star Kenny Chesney will play a free concert June 20 on the beach in Wildwood, sources say.

We're told an announcement is expected Thursday morning.

Chesney, who has a paid, ticketed concert with Tim McGraw June 16 at Lincoln Financial Field, has a new album coming out June 19.

A Wildwood spokesman did not immediately return our email for comment Wednesday afternoon.

How ironic that all the leftist "journalists" at the Inqy and DN sign a petition to make sure the new owners don't mainipulate the news coverage and your editors do just that by ignoring the Wisconsin recall story. So much for integrity.

His concerts NEED to be free as tacky and untalented a performer he really is. When he married that hot in the pants girl trying to make him straight, I lost respect for him.

He looks like a member of the Frank Perdue clan, for real.

jimmymack, did you think you would get a big response to that stupid comment under a Kenny Chesney concert announcement?

I don't really know his music.... But the guy sells out football stadiums.... Every Year. Ya can count on one hand performers who can do that. Maybe just 2 fingers... Chesney and U2.

So I don't think his concerts need to be free

Something stinks about this whole "FREE" concert, first of all you need to be an AmEx cardholder or a Chesney Fan Club member to get tickets first, or wait until 6/11 for the general public all via Ticketmaster. And if you use the AmEx code provided it tells you none available/sold out.
